太空编队精确飞行技术可能与瑞典“棱镜”(Prisma)任务有关。

The Proba–3 Mission is part of the overall In Orbit Demonstration (IOD) missions from the Technical Directorate of European Space Agency (ESA). The main objective of the experimental mission Proba–3 is to demonstrate precision formation flying techniques and technologies as precursor to future larger ESA programs.The Space segment of PROBA-3 is composed of 2 spacecrafts: the Occulter (OSC) and the Coronagraph (CSC) flying in formation. The spacecrafts will be launched 2018 in stacked configuration and they will separate once in orbit.As part of PROBA-3 Core Team, EADS CASA ESPACIO has been deeply involved in Phases A and B of the mission as Prime of the OSC.In Phases C/D/E, EADS CASA ESPACIO is responsible of the Structural and Thermal design of both satellites, including the separation mechanism, as well as of the Assembly, Integration, Verification and Test campaigns. The activities also include the procurement and integration activities for the Propulsion subsystem, the harness and the solar panels.

Proba-3 mission consists of two spacecraft, the coronagraph spacecraft (CSC), carrying higher thrust (1 N) monopropellant thrusters for large impulsive manoeuvres and the occulter spacecraft (OSC) which carries Cold Gas Propulsion thrusters (mN), flying in a high elliptical orbit around the Earth (600x60530 km). The orbital routine, presented in Fig. 2.1 consists in 6-hour Formation Flying experiments around apogee, followed by a perigee pass based on a two point transfer, and a formation acquisition before next apogee.
